During his 15+ year career as a leading Wall Street equity analyst, Jordan developed a reputation as a thought leader on media, eCommerce, advertising technology, search, lead gen, and social media business models. He provided investors with a differentiated view on relative value in the Internet ecosystem, and was personally involved with dozens of IPOs, including Facebook and Google.
Jordan has appeared frequently on leading news programs on CNBC, Bloomberg, and ABC News, and was cited broadly in print publications such as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He won many awards during his tenure as an analyst, including the WSJ's Best on the Street in both 2005 and 2007.
Jordan earned an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He also worked in strategy and business development for the Walt Disney Company.
Michael spent over a dozen years as a securities analyst, evaluating Internet business models for investment banks and asset managers, and developing a love for disruptive business models.
Most recently, Michael was the Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Investor Relations at MaxPoint Interactive and was instrumental in its IPO in March of 2015. Michael has a deep understanding of marketing and advertising technology.
Before joining MaxPoint, Michael was a vice president of equity research at Stifel Nicolaus, covering the Consumer Internet sector. Michael has been following internet companies since 2003 on both the sell-side and buy-side.
Michael earned an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in History from the University of Colorado. He also worked advertising sales at Time Inc. and investment analysis for Omnicom.
